Given that Google is hell bent on knowing where everyone is every second of the day I can live in hope that they will fix it.

Going to need to open it up and pull the battery or it will electrolysis itself to death before it dries out.

I thought there was some fancy bag you can put it in and there is something that draws out the moisture??? I know a friend put his S2 in a bag of rice for 4-5 days and it fired up

You believed a salesman (and a Telstra one no less). That was your first and only mistake!

No luck with the GPS, Google have started the RMA process to get it replaced, not so happy that I have to buy the replacement and then get refunded the amount once they get the busted phone back. :(

I keep hearing about this camera bug, but I've never encountered it Neil, any idea what causes it?

Also got my replacement phone, no idea if it's a refurb or not, if it is a refurb they must replace the screen and the case because I couldn't find a mark on it, and all the packaging was sealed up exactly like a brand new unit.

Ive read that Google Goggles can cause the camera bug but I have a feeling it was for an older build as the post dates were December 2013.

I get this, if I use the camera.

yeah mine looked perfect as well Shonky, It came in a after market packaging and was already setup when I turned it on. I had to factory reset it. So I'm guessing it's Refurbished.
Knappo, I just un-installed Google goggles. I had that installed on my previous phone and no issues.

That camera daemon must be caused by an app other than the stock camera, I've taken several pics today and that doesn't show up in the list of apps having been run.

Mine was in brand new packaging as best I can tell, new lead and charger still in plastic wrap, clear sheet on the screen shipped from Singapore and was a clean install out of the box on 4.4.2, sounds like mine is a brand spanker rather than a repair.

Anyone know much about the Nexus 6 and maybe a release date?

My old Nexus 4 is getting a little tired, might skip the 5 and grab a Nexus6 when it's released.

Er, I thought the Nexus models were named on their screen size, so the next one will be a Nexus 5 (assuming the screen is 5"). If they increment with each release they're going to get into problems very soon :)

Nexus 5 (2015) anyone? There is the Nexus 7 (2013) which replaced the original.

As did I, their roll-out schedule makes no sense given it's only a small security update.

I think that they delayed the Australian roll out due to a radio bug because my 4.4.4 that I flashed from image got a 4.4.4 update this week!
