Android - nicer notification tones

Post by smithcorp »

Sick of that ubiquitous Samsung Android tone when you get an SMS? I am now using these nice alternative tones:

Sound is one of the first things I alter on my phone. All touch sounds get turned off, I set my alarm to Ramble On by Zep because it starts out nicely, and then I add a sound called Thunderfoot I got from another rom as my ringtone. For message tones I just go with the highest pitch I can because I work on noisy job sites and I need something I can hear.

I was at a site meeting this morning and the foreman has an emergency vehicle siren as his ringtone set to go really loud. Certainly got all our attention.
