Lactose free foods.

Think you can cook a dish that would win Master Top Iron Chef? Well here is the place to share. All the talk about food and good eating goes here. If you think a McAngus burger is gourmet, best you stay away.

Lactose free foods.

Post by tehsid »

My girlfriend recently found out she is lactose intolerant. Its been hard to find decent tasting recipes to cook for her, and I was hoping that maybe somebody on here might have some recommendations.
Large amounts of red meat are also a no go too, sadly :(

Cheers lads.

Just lactose or is it a dairy intolerance? My wife went into a lot of research with my son for a gluten and diary free diet to deal with his autistic behaviours, I imagine a fair bit would cross over. Will get her to write some stuff out.

Sorry mate, I forgot all about this thread. So far it has been a lot of dairy products, but things like Lactose free milk she has been able to drink just fine. I've been trying to find some decent cookbooks but most of them just say to 'substitute full cream milk with lactose free milk.' which doesn't help at all, really.
