Tassie's best chips

Think you can cook a dish that would win Master Top Iron Chef? Well here is the place to share. All the talk about food and good eating goes here. If you think a McAngus burger is gourmet, best you stay away.

Tassie's best chips

Post by Bauer »

The entrants thus far in my search for the best hot chips in my area.

Rated for the following out of 5:

Flavour
Cookedness
Cost v Quantity
Condiment
Overall

What I would consider "gourmet" among chips are the following 2 entries

Seaport Fish and Chips

The winner of the gourmet chip is Seaport Fish and Chips. Lovely taste and the addition of vinegar at the table made for a tremendous snack. Both weighed in at a hefty $5.50 for the large serve I had. Expensive chips but Seaport had dine in table service which also gives them the edge. Mr Chippee has a battered chip which has a great flavour but lacked the ability to personally condimise.
