Codemasters will be releasing a patch for the PC version of GRID Autosport tomorrow, July 9th, to fix some release bugs. The patch is comprised of UI, graphics, online, art and saving the game fixes. No new improvements or content will be added.

July 9th Patch Notes:

Nvidia 3D VISION Surround Fix – Improvements in UI interactions when using NVidia 3D Vision.
UI Fix – (French & Portuguese) Online session text updated for easier readability in French & Portuguese languages.
Career Fix – Fixed configuration issues which intermittently caused certain races to use the qualifying results for the starting grid positions rather than the previous race results in reverse.
AMD CrossFire Fix – Resolved graphical issues which could appear during menu transitions when CrossFire is enabled.
Online Fix – Fixed disconnection issues which could potentially cause checkpoint sessions to end prematurely if hosts lose their online connection.
Online Fix – Resolved issues which sporadically caused session length times to cease displaying within the voting screen.
UI Fix – Fixed rare instances of the total points OSD appearing within a drift zone then persisting on race results and rewards screens after drift event.
Nvidia SLI Fix – Fixed flickering menu transition artefacts which occur on certain SLI configurations.
UI Fix – Improved readability in relation to the online player XP scores when playing with 4:3 aspect ratio.
Art Fix – (Paris Track) – Fixed track issues within Paris routes which occurred when playing in ultra low graphical presets.
Online Fix – Resolved issues which could sometimes cause the player to receive damage twice if the online session experienced packet loss.
UI Fix – Improved the event rules messaging text to better differentiate between various online game modes.
Art Fix – Resolved rare track issues which could have caused the player wheels to sink into the ground whilst on certain tracks.
UI Fix – Added a fix to prevent the vehicle avoidance OSD message appearing on screen when the feature is switched off.
UI Fix – Resolved issues which could potentially cause the scoring prompts to stay on during drift games.
Save Game Fix – Fixed a save game corruption issue which could occur over time in specific circumstances.

Got this one also. Just some quick fun.

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you finally have enough horsepower.

Man do the AI suck! oh well, makes the game a bit of a challenge.
Scottie's enjoying it, although the physics are crap, it still has a knife-edge feel of its own, and the AI (despite being crap at seeing where you are) aren't slow, so there's some challenge to getting it done.

Had some good races online last night. For some pickup race fun it's pretty good.

A Note on Future Content and Multiplayer Playlist Changes
All DLC is currently scheduled to be released before October 2014.

Car Packs:
There will be three car packs for GRID Autosport:
Best of British
Coupe Style
Road & Track
We’ll have more info on the content of these packs a bit closer to the time of release.

Mini-Expansions:
Each pack is built around a theme:
Sprint Pack
Touring Car Legends Pack
Drag Racing Pack

Patches:
In addition to new content we’re also hard at work on patches for the game, some of which you will have already seen deployed and others that are still on their way. These patches aren’t only for fixing any niggles or issues that you’ve helped identify but we’re also committed to improving the game where possible, based on your feedback.
One such feature will be a virtual rear view mirror, which will soon make its way into a PC patch. Alongside this we will also be allowing advanced controller options to be available for all peripherals, regardless of whether or not they are on our supported list. While we cannot say for certain how your controller will work, the options being available should allow you some degree of control over them.
Both of these features are currently undergoing our QA process and we’re hoping to push them live very soon.

Playlist Changes:
Also something that’s due to happen, again, based on your feedback. When we first heard that you were disappointed that some circuits were not making many appearances we took the opportunity to do some investigating. Once we’d dug deep into the playlist rotations we took the decision to change things up a little.
The end result is that you should now see more GP Routes (the right way around as some may call it) making an appearance and we’ve also increased the number of tracks available to each discipline, which should ensure that all your favourite locations make an appearance across a number of disciplines.

Codemasters also announced two more mini-expansions. A Touring Car Legends Pack and Drag Racing Pack. Both the packs will be released somewhere around October. The Sprint Pack is available on the Steam platform for €5.99, - £4.79,

GRID Autosport is currently 75% off in the STEAM Sale, for $10USD it's a good deal if you're looking for a pickup & play racer.
The add-on packs are also 50% off if you want to go the full monty.
