My TV has PIP, so I can watch movies/TV whilst B:Specing. Also, over the weekend I taught my two eldest girls (5 & 3) how to command the B Spec driver and let them do a few races :p

My stratergy is bring a car with a better power to weight ratio than the AI and use the best tyres allowed for that event. I actually won most of the B Spec Amatuer races using a modded Alfa GTA '66. I modded it to have about 200HP and it weights about 610kg. Sometimes the AI dude gets it sideways and most times he catches it.

Note: Despite a girls love for a classic VW Beetle, do not mod it and use it as a B Spec car! That cost me a few wins but kept the girls happy. I spent about 300k to get it to a maximum of 89hp. Doh!

Does anyone else have the Stealth series cars? I see the chromeline ones which only came with CE or SE I guess? When I picked up my copy of the game I was handed a little card with some codes on it so I've had a Macca F1, 787b, R15 and a few others right from the start.

the 787b is quicker than the R10 around the Top Gear Test Track.

Thats a fail right there.

im making a wesbite, which will eventually have all the times i do around the top gear track.

its rubbish, as i have the html skills of a carrot, so bear with it.

Why is that a fail? The mazda has more hp and about the same weight. Less downforce, but thats not really an issue around the tg track

I've started up on the B challenges. My driver (B. Sanna, hehe) is rather beginner. The little shit can't handle a RWD car. He has never heard of half-throttle out of corners; it's either full or nothing. Maybe he's driving with some crappy controller? :D But I think he's getting better, slowly. At least he's a cool guy.

I've got stealth and chromeline cars. I only bought the Collectors edition but it does certainly pay to have 2 mates that are store managers for EB games :D

The reason I couldnt get a decent time with the R10 is because it has No Grip what so ever. I cant accelerate out of any corner, i cant brake, i cant even turn on the power, its just got nothing. the 787b has more power as you say, but a ton more grip which it shouldnt really have. there is 15 years between the two cars, the R10 should beat the 787b in every way grip and aero wise by a big margin

What really buggers me here is this:

- Buttons: the circle sends you out. It's like an escape. Usually. But not always. WHY??? Why do I have to click the X to get out of the series screen, when I was able to get out of all previous screens via the cirlce?
- When you check the requirement for a race, you go into your garage, and/or tuning - and you can't get any tuning parts. This is where you need to go out all the way and in again...
- Due to the slow load times this takes half a minute or more, every time, then back again. Rather crappy.

And don't even start me on the fact that you hit up then down, and you end up in a different place than where you started...Who in his sane mind designs an interface like that?!?

The interface has been designed for a mouse, not a controller. Even then, it's still not a good one

but that does not make sense, does it? It was to be a console racer from the get-go...

Im finding it really stupid that you generate kms in A-Spec but not when you race online.... then when you use a B-Spec driver his kms get added to your overall tally.
