I've started this challenge and got Gold on the couple of sections that I've done, but not yet up to doing the full lap with traffic. Will do it tonight and smash your time :p

First effort 8:55.6xx - G25

So much more time to be found as the traffic is so dam slooooooooow. You really need to plan you moves many corners ahead.
Ive unlocked Nordy now for use in prac sessions so im slowly taking all the cars i own and setting a time to build a top gear style leader board around the ring.

So far ive got 35 cars and ive only completed full laps in 3 of them.... this might take me a while lol :p

Dont have a wheel yet, still waiting for stock.

Also, I have only set up my profile and installed the game. Did about 5 licence tests @ 330 this morning whilst I waited for my eyes to stop bleeding (not really, but you know what I mean).

Wow, how much fun is the SLS around Nurby! I did a 7:30.4 on my one and only try (G25). It was a nice clean lap without putting a wheel off or hitting one of the AI cars - I kind of treated as if I was really going out there for a run in real life and didn't take risks. Still awesome. Looking forward to seeing what the Advanced and Expert levels hold.

I'm just outside of gold trophy on both, can't remember the exact times but they are ~5s off, only.

Oh, and by the way guys, there' s a default TC & ABS on...shouldn't we switch those off?
Is there a way to have it off by default?
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

Just run whatever your comfortable with in my opinion, I always turn the TC off, and No i cannot find any default settings to have them permantly off, as per nearly every other GT game...

Thanks :D

I assume the Expert will be the SLS AMG in the wet then!

and 9ra55h0ppaH i hear ya, its alot of fun. even with a PS3 Controller.

I have to say, i am suprised by the results with the controllers, either im to good (yes) or there isnt much difference between a joypad and a Steering wheel in this game

It's already wet in the advanced...not raining but moist. Oh and I'm driving with a DFP

by the way handling-wise, I've acquired a Ferrari 512BB, tuned it a little and it handles pretty much like iRacing  tail-happy and all. Just need to switch off the TC...meh.
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

Spent tonight re sitting my AMG beginer and intermediate tests.
Instead of doing the full lap first i made sure i was gold on all the sectors.

8:39.095 - Mercedes 300SL (got done by traffic twice)
7:01.537 - Mercedes SLS AMG (pretty clean run)

On the beginner I just lapped a 8:43.384 in the 300 SL. I use a PS3 controller so I am pretty proud! Had a few offs so I could definitely knock a second or two off I reckon :D
It's been nice, chaps.
