Re: GT5 Photo Mode
Nice!
That race last night was awesome... the transitition from dusk to night was brilliant, but if only my RX-7 had more than 595hp as it just wasn't enough to keep the pace down the straights.
I took some screenies, just need to upload them once my PC is fixed.

Re: GT5 Photo Mode
The photos are actually on my Facebook account, but the quality is greatly reduced. Once my new GF card comes, I'll be able to upload a decent copy to photobucket... but here's one of the screenies I took:
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1 ... 1323631904
I couldn't see any brake glow in the replay of the other cars as well
I also noticed that my brakes seemed to favour the rear as they were glower brighter than the fronts. I only had the balance set to 6 at front and 5 at rear.

Re: GT5 Photo Mode
I have a purple to green halequin paint chip. Yet to use it though, not really sure what to put it on...
I noticed the rear glow up a fair few times in replay mode, never got the fronts that bright though. I usually drive with ABS set to one and brake balance Front 9 rear 7 or 8 except at the ovals, where I run 1 and 3 respectively.

Re: GT5 Photo Mode
Few new ones from me, still learning how to play with this photo mode.
Amuse Nismo 380
Couldn't quite get this one right, otherwise the wheels would be way too dark.
Playing with S2000
I figured out why Ferrari use a "Prancing Horse"

Re: GT5 Photo Mode
Good work cj, 2nd S2000 pic looked like you had some fun.
Here is a few from my Nurburgring 4hr. I picked the blue RX7 as it was under powered which made me really fight for decent pace and as a result it was an awesome race! Split it into 3 parts, 2hrs, 1hr & 1hr.
I was only a few tenths to half a second faster each split, so a 30 second gap would take you about 2 full laps to eat into. Around 2hrs into the race i was over a minute behind the leader as i suffered a puncture... worst track ever for that to happen, took forever to return to the pits and the next hour going flat out to get back to the lead
The red S2000 GT1 gave me a solid race for the entire 4hrs, ended up winning by 30 seconds. I could ease away but you wanted to make 5 laps per pit stop and the tyres only lasted 4.5 laps when you really pushed it. So i would go easy on my out lap, give it hell for the next 2 laps and cruze to the stop. Some times i would push the tyres too much and man do you suffer if you are in the first 3/4 of the lap.

Re: GT5 Photo Mode
I use a USB stick, cbf networking my ps3 to my computer until I replace my desktop.
On your USB stick you need a folder, in capital letters called PICTURE.
In your game, on the GT life menu you will see a series of buttons on the left hand side. Garage, Photo's, Replays etc. Click on Photos, cycle through them and find the one you want. There is a menu in there (move your controller sticks if it has dissappeared) that has an option to "export to Xmb". Click on that... do that with all the photo's you want to save to your PC.
Now exit out of the game, on the XMB menu cycle to Photo's. Go down to the folder called January and X click on it. In there you will see all your photos you have exported. Now plug your usb stick (or external hdd etc) into the port on the PS3. Hit the triangle button to bring up the options on the photo you have highlighted and hit copy. It should bring up your USB device and click X. It will copy the image to it, should be in .jpg format.
If you have a series of photos from the same location it will ask you to rename and save or overwrite. Just rename and save...
