GT5 Prologue Demo

Post by TassieDevil_Original »

Just got the GT5P Demo, for the Japanese Network Store (Shhhh), it's not too bad, it has cockpit view, but not in the Nissan.

Haven't tried my G25 yet, but from the menu's I was looking at it doens't show the G25 in the config menu's only DFP and the Logitech's. So I guess no H-Shifter, or clutch..damn, but will try my wheel later.

There is only one track Suzuka forward and about5 or 6 cars, with 3 that show a lock, but they must get opened at a later date through the internet, cause I have come first in all cars and they are still locked.

It does look very nice and seems to handle pretty well too..

Yeah the other car's releases will coincide with the Tokyo Motor show which starts on the 26th. I think one of the cars to be unlocked is the 2008 WRX. Not sure of the others.

also it's limited until the 11th of November...

To turn BGM off in race, it's the 3rd option in the sound options. (IIRC).

Menus are english on mine. Some Japanese text but all with english stuff associated.

Graphics are pretty crazy, the amount of detail on the cockpit is amazing, just in terms of textures alone. The handling doesn't seem as good as GT HD. Feels like it has been dumbed down a bit. I think I turned off all the aids.

Looking forward to the real deal, online should be pretty fun.

Hey bud don't you think I already looked there  . Or are you directing it at Righty?

Anyway it needs to be updated if it's going to be of any use to people, instead of having to scroll through the whole thread, specially if it did happen to get big...whishfull I guess... :yikes:

After trying my G25 wheel, I am happy to report that the H-Shifter does work, and how it should, like you can skip gears when you need too, but alas there isn't a working clutch
yet, but I still keep using it because I am just so used to it in LFS.. :D :fall:

That NSX must be being driven by my mum if you can pass it in a 135i.
I see the AI still gives up the ghost when you get alongside.
