Just had a look around and it's $32/month for a 1Gb server at AusFrag

Just a heads up folks, hold off on adding any funds to Stipe for the moment, we are just about to begin our final month of funds, and while this is being used I'll check out the Ausfrag servers that Darren posted, and hopefully get an ip out of them for one of their servers so we can all check ping times etc before we go moving servers if we feel the need.

Want to see what a fair dinkum MC server is like, take a wander round this place. :D
EDIT: It aint that great, but it's worth a look to check lag.

203.98.81.229:25577 This is on the potential host, so take note of pings and any other nasties you might come across.

just had a quick wander around. Makes my wooden hut seem a bit unimpressive. Went to the bank. There was a zombie there to serve me LOL

Didnt notice any lag etc so seemed all good to me.

I've just gone back to our server for a short stint, and I reckon level loading is much slower on our current server than it is with Ausfrag.

Went to work on setting up the Ausfrag server, "Out of Stock". WTF? Waiting to hear what their response is, we may be sticking with our current provider yet.

Starting to look that way, replied to the closed ticket with "So do you want our business or not?".

Alright, I'm making an executive decision, we'll stick with Stipe for the time being, I can't be bothered dicking with Ausfrag any more, this should be easy, not a pain in the ass, so if you got some cash you want to put towards this months expenses, see the 1st page on how to do it, cheers guys.

Just a heads up, my port at the exchange died a little while back (over a week ago), so I'm still waiting to come back online at home. Once I'm back up and running, I'll grab a copy of the server data and run a test server for a little bit, just to see how it will cope.

That's if you guys still want to keep it going later ;)

No worries Astro, do you have the current FTP details for Stipe? I'm guessing the server is pretty quiet at the moment, I've only had 3 people ask for the new ip address so far.
