Alright, sweet as.

I've sort of given myself the challenge of trying to sustain myself on a small island near my friend's place. Might take a bit of work but I'll get used to this mod. Seems like great fun though :)

Teamed up with Neil and we killed the dragon

It was satisfying to see the prick die after having died about 6 times in there :vibes:

Holy hell those vertical windmills are huge.

Trying to get through the ages. That wiki has been slightly useless as well with some of the new stuff.

Also, I need to know roughly where both The End and the Nether Fortresses are.

The wiki is designed to only give you minimal help so you learn new stuff all by yourself. its not there to give you every single answer :)

both are near darren... go to darrens portal and there is a tunnel in the nether that will take you to the fortress.

As for the end, its north of darren, there is a hole in the ground a bit out. hard to explain.

No problem.

Its not so much that it doesn't give you a step by step method, its that some sections don't give enough info to how items work. It would be nice to know for example, where to put the lightning rod, more so, how it works.

Yeah, the mod creator isn't big on giving details. This is about the best I could find on it. It's not windmill specific but would help protect any flammable buildings/forest.

The End is a short distance north from my place. Just walk until you see a desert temple then follow the dirt columns to the north east. I'll fix up the markers so it's easier to find and hopefully soon I'll finish joining my rail up with your path at spawn.

Did you see this news, Crowella?

http://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/articles/884921" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Starting with Minecraft version 1.6 (estimated release: Spring/Summer 2013), Mojang will no longer be supporting Java version 5 or PowerPC.

Lol.

I've been playing it on my Tablet PC because of no mod support. It was only a matter of time. Besides, I should keep the powerPC as a work only machine. ;)

Any chance you could upload the jar Neil, be buggered if I can get Minecraft to give me anything other than a black screen with modloader installed, let alone get it working with by the way in place.

EDIT: Nevermind Neil, forgot to update REI's minimap.

Still a bit meh for me, I just have a go when I got nothing better to do.

I was thinking maybe we should have a think about what to run next, if there is a mod someone would like to try out post it up and when the time comes we might have something to go onto next.

I don't think I ever got sick of tekkit. I watch my young bloke playing it and he has wireless remote doors and shit. Been thinking of going single player but its just not the same.

I lost interest with tekkit once all the stuff was automated. With this I still have interest trying to build a good mob grinder, and automating things is more difficult.

I think people might maintain interest longer if we had another arseville. When everyone spreads out we may as well be playing single player. There are a few building next to each other on the current map though.

They're both fun so I don't mind which one we play. The mob grinder isn't mod specific.

I agree Darren on the Arseville idea again, it is well overdue I think.

I like that too. Have an area around spawn that we develop and set up as a group. Then we can disperse into the wilds. That concept probably lasts the longest for us.
