Arseville v2.0

Post by Shonky »

Ok folks, server is up and running and ready to go for our new group project.

Settings are survival, on hard with normal biomes since large biomes seem a bit too large.

If there are any probs, let me know and I'll see what I can do to sort them out.

That's what I was thinking when joined to make sure the server was working, looks just like what was discussed.

The nether is safe again. I had to kill a few more pigmen but they aren't attacking any more.

Pigmen were attacking everyone around spawn and with hardcore mode+lag it was practically suicide to go in there. Shonky led some of the agro ones away which helped and I did the same this morning with the few that were left. Hopefully nobody pisses them off again :)

I put an iron door in there as well. Not sure if they can open wooden ones or not.

Hehe, excellent, really have to keep on top of having the portal secure, the first time I got died was in the overworld when one of the nutter pigmen came through the portal and took me out.

That fucking spider in the nether was nutso.

Then i blew up in the nether. Respawned and my overworld fence was exploded everywhere.

Good times.

Also, what exactly is the project at the moment?

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you finally have enough horsepower.

The project at the moment is to pick a place near spawn and get yourself started, then we'll work towards turning it in to a town in between I guess.

Yeah sorry I probably should have made a post, figured someone would ask and I'd mention it anyway, as I did.

I may convince the GF to join too at some point, so if you see a Jess online it is probably her.

Yes Jordan is mine. She just hopped on for a look. Wouldnt expect to see her on much. When she plays it is usually on a Hunger Games server. She loves it.

Cool. As long as someone knows who they are :)

Neil, in the grinder you only need 1 punch (2 if they have armour) to kill the skeletons so it's not too bad even if there are a bunch of them. Don't need to use a weapon either. I made a few damage potions anyway if you want to try them out :)

Yeah, I'm thinking I should get a water cooling tower for the pc and just put it in the next room :) But the monitors alone are 180W heating in my face, and wife's computer is there, too, and it'd be a lot of work...maybe it's simpler to drag the mobile aircon here. It's just a tad too big :)
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

i only asked becuase i had to log off and there were quite a few left in there. I realised they were 1 hit kills, but it was going to take forever with the grenade just lob it and then collect. its alot quicker ;)

What grinder?

Not only do you fill houses with chickens, you don't share goodwill either.
