That sux yet at the same time makes the point of the death ban. Im so careful when im wandering around but you never know when a creeper or skeleton might just show up (or another player)

I'm afraid I've the same issues with that server, not sure if it's the server or my ISP, but it appears to be not just me a lot of the time so I'll give this a miss until I hear things improve.

Yeah, I basically mined a spot, saw lava, put some cobble down. Next thing I know, in the lava.

I suppose what makes it worse is the fact I took the soul sand/nether wart with me... I think.

I'll just leave a message here saying I've been banned from the AusHCSMP server for apparently having a mod enabling "fast mining".

That server sounds like a great idea let down by shit management.

I have to say, I'm not impressed. I will keep going if my appeal works but I doubt it. The fact that the evidence given to me was over two seconds rather than a whole 25 minutes of me struggling to mine out a cave really does make me wonder...

I'm going to ask if I can be unbanned to try and replicate what happened and record it with FRAPS. I have a feeling that it may have to do with my connection and not theirs.

Not surprised Crow, I wouldn't be surprised if they ignore you completely given how quickly they banned you in the 1st place with no evidence.

They banned me based on:

- Two screenshots apparently taken two seconds after each other.
- There was reports being sent to the admins that I was fast breaking blocks (?)
- And the fact I used a stone pickaxe to do all this since it seems in line with what hacks do. (really)

If he had followed me for ages, he should have actually counted what I had broken over a long period of time rather than a split two seconds. Derp.

I don't know how they can ban based on that evidence given the absolute crap load of lag it has that they continue to ignore for unknown reasons.

He ruled out lag instantly. As in, flat out refused to listen. The fact that over 2 days, no admin was able to contact me or resolve it at the time is really irritating.

One of the admins refuses to:
a) Allow me to replicate what happened, even for a minute or two.
b) Show me any log files from what happened.
c) Admit to the area I had mined in over a period of time and compare it with what is possible.
d) Reply straight away until ANOTHER admin has seen what has happened which will be several days.
e) Reply in private as I requested
f) Provide a timestamp on the two photos as well as show any other physical evidence that he was following me

Basically, I'm out of luck here. A good idea on an averagely reliable server is totally ruined by management that don't look after their server and refuse to be proven wrong.
