I'm not sure what to do about that :(

I've switched the map over and it looks like it's all there

I was playing a lot of Bioshock Infinite last night (it's my lounge room gaming system / HTPC), but I wouldn't have thought it would cause too many issues.

I turn viewable chunks down, was 12 to 10...then played with no issues for 45 minutes...not sure if that's the issue but was nice not getting kicked out :-)

I've had mine set to 10 chunk view for a long time now for the same reason Haze, it wasn't until you mentioned it that it came back to me.

Hey guys,

Let me first start by saying great site! It's nice to see a forum that isn't filled with arguing between douche bags haha.
Anyways i'm a friend of Cardigan89 and he happened to show me your amazing server (loved the cathedral! That thing is insane!) and insisted
I ask you guys if I could join :) So I thought i'd subscribe and ask away! haha.

I've been playing since beta but never really on a server before more just LAN and solo so i'd be really keen to join you guys if you'd have me and get to know you all :)
And don't worry i'm no griever haha

Cheers guys

Jared

Just a heads up, because it's 40+ degrees all this week here in Adelaide, I won't be able to guarantee the server will always be online (e.g. power outages, overheating shut-down, computer failure, etc...). So fingers crossed.

PS Can someone let me know if it does go down?

Was looking at the weather forecast and it's barely going to get below 30° at night time! Jeez - I hope you have some good AC going dude!

Fine by me if you shut it down Astro, don't feel the need to keep things running if it means the heat could kill it, I'm tipping my PC won't be on much this week either, looks like 40 degree days is the norm for the rest of this week.

Not planning to shut it down unless we run into real issue (remember it's my HTPC as well). So far it has survived its first 45.1 degree day, so we are looking good. :)

Next step, 46 degrees on Thursday. :aussie:

The server is trashed. Quincy, can you remove the server from your kids lists? I don't think they're ready for that style of multiplayer yet.

Sure mate. I have been encouraging them to play offline as I noticed they weren't respecting what you guys had built up/gathered etc. I apologise if they have ruined things. They wont be back again!

No problem. Nothing major, just lots of little random things everywhere like kids do. Random blocks missing/placed, animals let loose etc :)

If they want something to explore where it doesn't matter what they do, try a pre-made map like this one. Has lots of towns/castles etc in it.

Yeah, and last time I checked, I lost all my diamonds, coal, actually anything that is valuable or useful. :( I'm not too fussed though because I don't play it too much now.

Yeah, just looked again and gold, iron and diamonds are gone. Oh well, wonder what they did with it all :)

I will endeavour to find out what has happened to all the good stuff! Probably stuffed into a few chests inside a pretty basic looking house??! I did warn them that you guys would get upset if they kept taking things that didn't belong to them. . . I have deleted the server from their lists. :aussie:

Just a heads up, I did have a power outage last night so I hope the server didn't lose any data.
