Hey Guys,

Is the server still busy enough to warrent the paid server?

I asked astro and he is able to host for us still.

I have jumped ona few times and its been quiet each time.

Server needs paying on the 20th, If its not getting used I think its best to go back to Astro...

Thoughts?

I'm on a couple times per week but rarely see anyone else on. Astro's server would be sufficient even if some come back to play a bit over the holidays.

Was just about to come in and ask if we still needed the paid server after reading Astro's email, guess this answers my question.

Cheers to Neil for the paid server, I'm sure you paid more than most to have it, and cheers to Astro for hosting it again for us.

Please yourselves fellas, I'm on a break from mc, I think I have finally burned out, haven't really had any urge to play for a while.

PM me admin details and I'll have a go. Does mcserver need to be shutdown before copying the map or can I just take a zip and copy it across?

If you go onto astro's server and do the copying directly from there it shouldn't take much bandwidth for yourself and would be quicker overall.

I just hopped on to MC for a bit of a look and see the server no worky.

I still had Astro's IP in my list and saw that one active so I hopped on there. I thought I hit 88mph for a moment when I saw where I was :D

Then I came here to see if there was any info and saw this thread.

Happy to do what ever.

Thanks heaps Neil for the paid server

Looks like the map didn't get copied across. If it's not available then it might be better to start from scratch to get the new biomes.

I had a look but I couldn't find it on there. Where did you copy it to?

I just rebooted the server and mobs are spawning again. Hopefully it fixes the disconnect issue as well.

I'm not sure, but I might have fucked up and deleted the wrong folder when trying to reset the map the other day.
