Nice bike. Could do with rear suspension though. He gives it the beans at 11:25.

you'd think that if you were going to go to the trouble of building something like that you'd base it on a bike that is at least put together to run at speed rather than an old clunker like that :o

One morning where I use to work we heard an all mighty racket just after the day kicked off.

Some poor bastard was riding a petrol powered clunker which had its front wheel fail, throwing him into a parked car. Bike was cactus, car dented up and he was a little 2nd hand. Dont think Ide ride a home made e-bike that was never intended to go at those speeds after seeing what can go wrong.

I have had a few close calls from drivers giving me a mouthful, then nearly slamming into the back of the car in front. ... i'm guessing it's only a matter of time that i'll need to (quite gladly) offer a witness statement against a road raging dickhead :P

Riding to work this morning and it struck me, every encounter with a fellow trail user was greeted with a 'mornin and wave vs a asshat in a car driving in a selfish manner.

I could get use to riding to work along the linear trails.

Not sure if people have noticed, but there is currently a bit of a battle going on for control of e-MTB racing. The FIM claim they are motorcycles and that they should assume control, while the UCI claim they are bicycles and so they should therefore assume control.

here's the FIM's e-bike World Cup... i think we need less of this :P

The only guy on an electric MX bike with pedals attached won. What a surprise. Looked like their first time around the course as well. Though it can't have been easy to ride in those massive ruts.

As others in the youtube comments said, should have just been an eMX race, not whatever that was supposed to be.
