Re: Bikey Booty!!!! What you got fool?
A word of advice on those cheaper torque wrenches. If you can get the calibrated, I would. Especially if you are using them on anything to do with CF.
I have a mate that used to test all our torque wrenches for Telstra, and he did mine. Yeah, the little cheap one was 23% out. Reading low, which meant you were actually tightening a lot more than recommended. I expect it was because it had been dropped. Now I dont lend them out.
Some of them are certified when new, but take care. One of the locals cracked his seat post with a cheapy.
The good news is you can sort of do it yourself.
Or, and if this isnt the best business name ever, try these guys... http://tcsnorbar.com.au/torque-tools-accessories-hire/

Not being too familiar with The Sufferfest, I'll assume there's a back story?

Fuck!
I just broke my heart rate monitor strap so might fork out and get the Garmin HRM Run if I cant fix the press stud back on it. Looks like 99Bikes are out of stock of the HRM Run tho, I wouldn't mind the additional running metrics it provides but if its too expensive ill try and bodge the old strap. Ive found a replacement Wahoo strap but at around $30 I want to try and fix the one I just broke. At least my watch has a HRM but its pretty sub par to the chest strap.
Ill put this back up ASAP if I dont use it, Norbs has first dibs....

New Whip Wednesday - Santa Cruz Tallboy Carbon 2016 - Picked it up for $3k from Bike Exchange, pretty stoked on this as he was asking for $4K originally then bumped it to $3500 then haggled him to $3k. As some of you know I have been a Road Cyclist for over the last 6 years so getting a MTB its all new to me again. Huge thanks to Knappo for some good chats via Instagram - Thanks mate, appreciated the advice over the last week.

Looking at that pic and the pic of the vacant cable port you showed me, I reckon it is for the dropper post.

Damn that's a fine looking machine MADCAP.
As a die-hard roadie myself having something like that might even convert me to dirt.
I hope it give you many hours of thrills & spills (small spills of course).

Frank, you are only 6k's (one way) from the base of Sturt Gorge trail network via the Sturt River trail.
You would be able to do an epic loop from home thru Sturt Gorge & Flinders Uni's trails and even onto Sheps, Lynton & O'Halloran Hill without even having to ride along any real roads.
Sturt River trail is perfect for your commute to the southern trails if you want to get a big ride in without the car.
