Post by Vilante »

A mate of mine commutes to work into a big building in the city every day.

He took this pic in the bike locker yesterday.......

Using the small chainring on a Cippolini.. the Lion King would not approve.

We have someone who commutes on a Pinarello Dogma. I guess if you can afford the upkeep and maintenance, then why not ride it. I suspect Mr Duke is probably on the money though with the idea of an after work criterium being the driver.

Obviously not too concerned leaving his Garmin on & using only that flimsy thin cable lock in a shared bike cage.

I note it's got SRAM eTap with a Quarq PM too... :O

I did notice the cable lock :o

If i had that bike, I think i'd be sitting next to it 24/7 just in case anyone looked at it wrongly. the guy riding a Dogma to my work doesn't even lock his :o

GTFO! And what makes it roughly that pricey? I don't know about about fancy bicycles. I'm guessing it's got special this and that stuff.

here's a 2016 model, marked down from $24k to a more affordable $16k:

the one in the bike lock up has been upgraded by the looks and sounds of it too :)
