Nice parking!!!

Minor injuries were reported after a small plane crashed in Plainville on Monday, September 11, 2017.
Officials with the Federal Aviation Administration said a fixed wing single engine Cessna "veered off of Runway 2 at the Robertson Field Airport" around 11:30 a.m. The plane veered into the Carling Technologies parking lot.
"I was sitting down at the end of the parking lot here, looked up because I heard the plane. Saw it going directly across probably 200 yards from where I was sitting, knew it was going the wrong way obviously," said David Thayer, of Southington. He watched the plane crash right in front of his eyes.
On Monday afternoon, police identified the pilot as Manfred Frost, who was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries.
Crews were looking into a small fuel leak after the plane went down.
The Cessna belongs to Interstate Aviation Inc., which is based out of Robertson Airport.
The incident is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Check out these beauties! The first plane is the best. The Spitfire Mk XIV is a little hot rod compared to the others and it should be being that small with a 37 Litre V-12 Rolls Royce Griffin. All the rest are beautiful but you know when the Spit is coming. :vibes:

Everyone seems to get a boner for the Spitfires. For me, I've always had a soft (and moist) spot for the P38 Lightning and the Hawker Typhoon.

Oh I like P-38's as well. The Spitfire is just that right blend of form and function in it's design and the Merlin engine sings a beautiful note. But I really like the Mk XIV as it looks a little aggressive and has some amazing performance to it. It must have been a shock to the Germans to see this version launching climbing attacks at them when they thought the height advantage would help them. Also any plane that can crack near 400 mph at roof top height must have been one hell of a buzz for the pilots.

Even the Seafires had the same look and feel to them.

Yeah spotted the track. She's pretty violent with the controls but it's amazing how it spins and stops on a sixpence. Incredibly responsive.
