Well, having run 3 variations (I cant seem to find the city config) I can say we will be using it Friday night. I even went drifting, without a boat!

3 thumbs up from the Culburra beach judge.

AUDI QUATTRO S1 E2
Introduced back in 1984, the Audi Sport quattro S1 E2 revolutionized rallying. Just like the other manufacturers, Audi used the lenient homologation requirements to create a new rally car. All the car maker needed for homologation was a production run of a mere 200 cars.
Blomqvist's spectacular, sideways driving style suited the Sport quattro perfectly. By flicking the tail out, the Swede overcame the natural understeer of the nose-heavy Audi. He won five of the twelve rounds and was crowned the 1984 World Champion. Mikkola and Roehrl also won a round, which was enough to clinch the constructor's trophy.

HIGHLANDS LAYOUTS

Highlands - The original layout, 8152 meters long, filled with fast flowing path with curves and several jumps.

Highlands Long - An extension of the original layout, 12191 meters long and has all the characteristics of the original layout. This layout features some slower curves, a fast series of left and right turns, after a passage between rocks and the distinctive 3km long "Cabhag straight"

Highlands Drift - A configuration born to create long powerslides with supercars and hypercars. At 5167 meters long, this layout features long, flat and smooth curves, perfect for holding a constant power slide. The "tower lùb", guards the surroundings at the top of the hill.

Highlands Short - The shortest configuration, only 1714 meters, but based entirely inside the city. Incredibly intense and requires the concentration of a pro.

All four layouts share the same starting positions and pit lane, as well as the first corner and final 2 corners

I stand by my statement. Boring amatuer design. Why did they round off all the city corners?

Tracks seem alright, gave them all a run in the 49.

1. Kunos should sell these tracks to a motorbike game because that's what this track is.
With constant radius corners, a slow city section and a lack of bumps except for the "3km Straight" which while fun to drive down also negates any high-speed runs because of the bumps and I feel that the whole track should have more bumps and jumps like that because, after all, it's an old Scottish B-road.

2. It's a wet track.
I couldn't get any car around the long circuit (and kept having graphics issues with the signs along the track) until I set the sky to dark clouds and late in the arvo which actually produces an amazing wet affect that is present regardless of conditions but is only noticable in cloudy weather, also the cobblestones are slippery as shit whenever I get onto them, which is a lovely touch.

3. Drift track is the best of the four courses.
Aside from two identical constant radius turns on this course, the small back section with concrete aprons to run on and proper camber on the road makes it the most fun section of all these tracks.

I can stop if ppl like but I think it adds to this forum & provides a great chronology of each sims development for posterity.

Highland Short layout FTW (was on the next page after Highland Motorsport park for me). The street corners are tighter than they appeared in the screenshots and they're more varied. Would be fun in a big grid with slower cars.

I also still stand by my statement for the long layouts though. All the corners in the country section all feel the same to me and they're all medium speed.

Audi @ Karelia Cross celebrity challenge? Was surprised to find the real car doesn't have a handbrake, but that makes sense when you think about it being 4WD. It sure feels like it could do with one. Need to try it at Joux Plane.

I never noticed the "Custom Championships" area before.

I created my own mini GT3 enduro series last night kicking off at Adelaide for round 1.
Pretty cool that you can add 3rd party content to the championship and even create multiple series/championships and save them in a list to pick up whenever you wish.

Going to make a few 3rd party car series for shits n giggles.

That's a pretty cool feature. Think I'll make my own 60's/70's Le Mans style series.
