There is a Ferrari pack coming to AC though.

Pcars2 is getting better each update. I t is a shame they pissed so many people off with Pcars and DLC.

If I didn't have the DLC to race in Pcars, it'd still let me in the server and let me drive the car that I didn't own on a track that I never bought.
AC will checksum you if they update the windscreen textures between FnF races.

Watched this but it still doesn't completely entice me especially given the amount of discussion & focus on gamepad usage.
Also the AI look very benign especially at the start of races but I guess that depends on the AI settings which they don't reveal.
Mind you the dirt / rallycross handling sure looked natural but also has me wondering if it's also a little too easy...?
But there are other aspects I find really appealing, like the correct rules for the category of racing & the ability to have race events/championships using any car & track combo for shits & giggles.
Also that the user now controls all aspects of an event including pit-stops but also the warm-up & cool-down laps.
I'm also very interested to see how the period costumed pit-crews look & act.

Not sure about the period costumer pit crews. I might be wrong, I'll let you guys decide if there is anyone wearing Stubbies and a wife beater.

The driving suit and gloves look ok though.

They still have a shit ton of bugs to iron out. The AI were driving backwards along the pit area looking for their pit slots.

Rattle guns would be a tad tricky to remove those wheel nuts as well...

I wonder if the consistent discussion is partly because the controller in the previous version was terrible and also partly because there's a massive part of the pie to take gamers from GT Sport and Xbox equivalent. Specially with GT Sport not having a single player career to speak of.

For wheel users (myself included) I don't care about the controller stuff but I also don't mind if they're saying something has improved from the previous title.

Normally, this guy is a raving lunatic, but, I found this a pretty good review of the game.
