Made the finals (photo competition)

I submitted a few of my photos to the Japanzine Gaijin-Eye Photo Competition during the last few months (Japanzine's a free magazine distributed all around Japan).

Entries closed in December, and one of my photos has been selected for the finals, and will be featured in the January issue! Yay!

Gaijin litterally means outside person, ie foreigner, and kind of means barbarian (the more polite form is gaikokujin)...

it's the side of a house in the traditional area of Kyoto - the wood is the house, the black vertical bits are the metal fence.
