Made the finals (photo competition)

I submitted a few of my photos to the Japanzine Gaijin-Eye Photo Competition during the last few months (Japanzine's a free magazine distributed all around Japan).

Entries closed in December, and one of my photos has been selected for the finals, and will be featured in the January issue! Yay! :)

Gaijin litterally means outside person, ie foreigner, and kind of means barbarian (the more polite form is gaikokujin)...

it's the side of a house in the traditional area of Kyoto - the wood is the house, the black vertical bits are the metal fence.
