Server Search Timeouts

I have a lot of trouble when searching game servers where it disconnects my internet. In server searches in games like FEAR, Wolfenstein and Americas Army, it's almost like my modem overloads or something processing it all and it just timeouts and wont let me connect and when i exit the game my net is re-connecting. Any thoughts on what the problem may be and how to rectify it would be super

I had the same problem with Browse For Speed, checkout the posts by Wabz and Astro in this thread

Ah cool thanks, I thought I looked there for some info... not very well obviously
