Weird.. I found this...

OnNet investigated the problem after updating HackShield and found two major reasons.

1. HackShield Update Error ( HS Error 300000030)

This error was caused by imcompleted updating of HackShield usually due to a firewall. We have uploaded the patch to solve this problem on 29/9/2005. If you still have a problem, download the most updated client from our download page.

2. Conflict With Certain Codec (Shot.exe Error, Error Code 10307)
This error was caused by the conflict between DCDSPFilter in Codec Package and game. We have been carrying on futher investigation. However, for time being, the best way for you to solve the problem is to remove DCDSPFilter in the codec.

Solution 1.

1. Start -> Run
2. Type regsvr32 "C:Program Files\Unified Codec Pack\DCDSPFilter.ax" /u

Solution 2. (If you installed Unified Codec Package)

1. Start -> Programs -> Unified Codec Pack >>Uninstall>>Uninstall x.xx.

We apologised to users who have this problem. It took quite a long time for OnNet to find out the problem and figure out a solution since each user had different network settings.

OnNet will continue to do their best to solve this problem and we hope to find out the solution as soon as possible.

Thanks anyways Dan.

I'm finally back in Melbourne and i'm trying to get SO working. I've got the client, installed and it's trying to auto update itself, but i get an error saying "Reading update server info is failed. Please check the network status and try it again"

Any suggestions of how to get it to work?

I have the same error as norbs

A reboot didn't do it for me and those two fixes above did nothing either... I'm chattin to the devs about it, but getting no response yet...

Any help? It's been a week running now since me wanting to play again.
