agree. save it for a good set of amateur clubs. You'll need them.
I found out the hard way. part way through my aggot round, I moved to level 21, and no amateur clubs. ruined the round. could barely hit the ball 150 yards!

no, the game wont let you. and be careful. some of the amateur clubs are user level controled. the basic clubs are for level 21. but you can't use better ones until you get to level 25.

Did you sell the default set then?

Can't you sell stuff you don't need?
Or do the driving range and try and hit some targets.
Can't you just putt with a wedge or something?

Plus, you should still be able to guy a beginner's putter for 0NG.

I deleted all my old gear to unclutter the inventory.

I lucked out. Some guy sold me an amatuer putter for 1NG. But it is a prick of a thing that I will have to learn how to use.
