Austra Racing launch LFS server

Today the new Austra Racing LFS server went live thanks to MPR

We will be running the W17 test patch until â€˜Xâ€™ becomes official.

So keep an eye out over the next few months for some 'Special Events' like the good ol Jump Time,
Super Special Sprints, UF1 Challenges & other AutoX events along with anything else that wets the appetite.

Actually, been thinking the same myself, dunno if its the cold weather, but has been a lot more options and other races on line in the last 3 weeks or so.

May 4th, 2007 -- (A.R.S.E News) -- Live For Speed racing team "Austra Racing" announced today it has launched a new Live For Speed server. In a deal between Austra Racing (~AR~) and Middle Pack Racing [MPR] an agreement was formed to have [MPR] supply hosting services to ~AR~ for an undisclosed time frame.

Austra Racing says it is using [MPR] hosting services to attract and select new talent within the Live For Speed marketplace and to continue growing the Australian Live For Speed Community. In future ~AR~ also intends to organise fun events that folks have come to love such as ~AR~ Jump Time Â©.

This partnership with [MPR] allows Austra Racing team members to kick, ban and perform all types of fun actions on the Euro Live For Speed community that have earned themselves a reputation as merciless wreckers who should be dealt with swiftly.

It is believed after countless hours of negotiations between [MPR] spokesperson EzyRider, and ~AR~ C.E.O. Shonky, the agreement was made and signed.

In unconfirmed reports it is believed ~AR~ C.E.O., Shonky, is quoted as saying "WOOT! We got ourselves a server boys, F!@K Yeah!". Also an anonymous source reported, [MPR] spokesperson has been heard saying "Gimme all your money bitches!"

As its a rumour, I can neither confirm nor deny it, but I'd like to point out that if it were true (and I'm not saying that it is or isn't) the plaits, and especially the one hanging from Vil's "rear view", would have been separated from the original ARSE (which may or may not have been my own) before sale.

There are several Aussie servers around at the moment, such as:

~AR~ (Austra Racing)
MPR (Middle Pack Racing)
AAL (AustralAsianLeague)
FMR (Filthy Minds Racing)

Plus several others run by the XGN network. You shouldn't have any problems in any of those servers, if any are passworded, they are usually something like ARocks or MPRocks, or FMRocks.. along those lines anyway.

As for a team, keep showing your face around the servers, join in on as many AAL or MNR races as you can, and eventually you'll be picked up.
