your favorite race cars.
here's mine, the Aston DBR1. Designed back in the days(56-59) when a pen and a man's brain decided the shape, not computers and wind tunnels.

Im the opposite, i see this car and i think of the time spent of it being perfected in every way comprehensible to form the ultimate package of speed by pushing the bounds of technology and the rules imposed on them, simply amazing.

It'll always be Mansell's FW14B for me. That car owned the others like nothing else. No tyre war to help decide things. With the modern reliability of tops teams it would have surely won every race.
Still, if we were talking about looks, there'd be a whole list of cars in front of this one. Eagle, Maserati, Jordan 191 etc...

my dad had a model of this car sitting on top of our telly when i was young, I remember just looking at it for hours (no touching for christ sake) and being in awe of it. It was also accompanied by the Greens Tuff Falcon too.
But, i reckon the Shell Sierra's are the 1st car i really paid attention to on track when i was younger. The Fact i got to sit in the real deal at the Adelaide GP one year in the pits was totally awesome too. And to this day still love the things and what to own one.

I wouldn't care... any version of the 956/962 would sit nicely in my shed I am sure...
This is miles ahead of any other race car on my favourite list...
They defined an era of motorsport, I would love to see as far as a record goes, entries v's winning statistics... they would have to be in the hunt for the highest ratio... certainly over the length of time they competed on the world stage...

Come to think of it, I really liked this car...
I was trying to think of a racing car I liked, and my experiences haven't lead me to anything more special.

I liked the 197 cause it had character as opposed to the cars it was racing against. well, that's what I thought anyway.
I only really started getting into F1 in '97, and had only had brief glimpses of V8's before that, so maybe that's why I cant think of anything else.
