I use two pedals, auto clutch.
Works for me.
I don't think people necessarily need the three pedals if they can work out that you should manually blip the throttle when downshifting h-pattern cars. Easy for me because I left-foot brake.
Of course, those joystick users out there are in a bit of trouble...

bugle created a script or something to make it so he can drive just like he did in patch x.VTRacing wrote:I use two pedals, auto clutch.

I doubt many will be using patch X Sin although I could well be wrong. Lately when I want some pickup racing I go to a CTRA server, I always used to dismiss them because the ping is almost 400ms but when I actually went on there one day I was quite surprised to find that there is not much lag at all, aussie servers sometimes have more lag than I get on any CTRA server.
It just depends whether CTRA is to your cup of tea, personally I think it's quite amazing what they've managed to do and I really like racing there, you'll just have to start on the lower tier servers which may not be your thing if you don't like the XFG/XRG or the FBM.

Yes, I agree. There is usually some interesting racing there. You just need to make allowances for the fact that at some point you will be punted off the track. Very few racers on the lower servers actually obey clean racing rules, so you have to be faster than them and start in front.Sarsippius wrote: It just depends whether CTRA is to your cup of tea, personally I think it's quite amazing what they've managed to do and I really like racing there, you'll just have to start on the lower tier servers which may not be your thing if you don't like the XFG/XRG or the FBM.
I tend to race the XRG when I race at CTRA Race 1, and I've got a habit of calling the XFG the Stuka because it's so good at divebombing...

ok cheers lads...
been awhile so i will be starting at the bottom, no sweat. And ask BFR... I have had my fair share of bumps and grinds on the race track... actually I am sure that most of you would think I am a nervous person to be around... I am sorry... I know I have made bugle slightly miffed a few times, lol... sorry buddy...
And I think Rumble wanted to skin me at one stage... my bad...
Goin for a look at CTRA now.

The settings need to be converted, there is a new naming method for them. Hang on...

To assist with this there are a couple of conversion programs floating around:

Yep that is why Sin.
Oh & just a word of warning, your old sets will need some tweaking as the tyre heat & wear physics have been changed in Patch Y, so adjustments to old sets will be needed so that the tyres work as they should.
