BUGGA!!
lol

well damn, that was good stuff. Woulda loved to see the tail enders win it for Aus, but I reckon an Indian win will benefit the game a little more. Especially after the recent bullshit. Well done.

Wonder what Adelaide will bring.

Symonds walks up to Harbhajan at the end of an over.

Symonds: "Go and yell at your teammates .... You called me monkey again."

Matthew Hayden: "Twice. You've got a witness now champ."

Hayden approaches Harbhajan.

Hayden: "That's the last time."

Harbhajan: "No listen he started it."

Hayden: "Doesn't matter mate, it's racial vilification mate. It's a shit word and you know it."

Soon after, Michael Clarke approaches umpire Mark Benson.

Clarke: "It's not the first time. He done it in India and got into strife. That's the second time he's done it."

Captain Ricky Ponting walks up to Benson and gestures towards fellow umpire Steve Bucknor.

Ponting: "Go and tell him. Go and tell him straight away."

Sorry but that has to the the soocki-est load of shit ever. Acting like a bunch of fucking school girls. I was half expecting Clarke to be poking out his tongue "Coz got Harbhajan in trouble with teacher".

pfft - pretty over it really. I think both sides were acting like school girls - India's attitude of boycotting a series if they didn't get their way was hardly any better.

I reckon bigger news is that Shaun Tait has quit cricket indefinitely. Hopefully he can recover and come back stronger. It leaves Australia with an even less experienced one day squad which should be interesting to watch. This CB series should hopefully be really close.

Funny. I wonder if Ponting, Hayden or Clarke have ever made a racist remark on the cricket field. I don't condone racism, or though I have been known to said the odd racist thing every now and then, but I love the fact Harbhajan gave it to the Aussies. Instead of carrying on like spoilt brats, they should have sucked it up and got on with it. Ponting is fine when things are going his way, but a prick when they aren't. Our weakest cricket captain for a bloody long time in my book. Fuckin top batsman though.

I still say Ponting's 100 times better, and more Australian, than that Hewitt fuckwit, and everybody loves him.

It might not always go that well for Clarke, but that sure was an indication of where Australia should be looking towards for the next captain.

Just got back from the 20/20 game. Got myself a free corporate hospitality spot, so meal, free beer all night and a seat precisely 90 degrees from the dead-center of the pitch.

Crowd was awesome, totally deafening at times. India were complete shite!

I heard that he wanted a break from international cricket (due to stress) so asked for his name to be removed from contention for selection.

I think he'll be back though.

Yeah something not quite right there, he never really gave the impression of someone who enjoyed his sport or was 100% committed to it. I would imagine injuries can have that effect, taking away your confidence and motivation. Plus it never really seemed to click for him, remember it was 2005 that he was the hot new thing, now its 2008 and he had not really progressed.
May have also lost faith with coaches and selectors etc as he did get messed around a lot and was made to look bloody ordinary in Perth.
Could be a similar situation to Harmison and Trescothick, some people just do not cope well with the constant criticism of trying to play at that level.
