someone hit my car!

Post by spoonsports »

Blah! after a week and a half of ownership, some person hit my car parked at home (on the street though) on friday. BLAH after 3 years of owning my pulsar and parking it in the dodgiest of places and never being hit, my new one is smacked after not even 2 weeks. Trully annoyed by it.

luckily the person left the details so i'll be sorting it out quickly, but just annoyed =-[

Isn't it interesting that this kinda thing happens quite often but with new cars only?

I don't buy new cars anymore, I had only the bad experience; scratches, bumps, the huge loss of value etc...there's just no reason for me to waste my money so anymore ;)
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

You have to hate it when stuff like this happens :(
Any chance you could post some pictures of the damage?

there isn't actually that much damage. Just a large dent on the front quarter panel and scratches, along with scratches on the front bumper. Luckily the front light isn't hit. However it will be expensive to replace. It should be around 1-1.5k for a replacement painted.

Spoon. Welcome to the Club. After having my XR8 for exactly 6 days, kapow! dopey bitch tagged me coming out from a blind sideroad. Again with mine, no major damage. Just cosmetic stuff and her insurance is covering it all. But yeah. After having considerably older cars, some of which i drove like a deadset idiot and avoiding all kinds of accidents. This happens.

I was pissed off too, but i got over it pretty quick, nothing you can do about it. It's just frustration, and i'm still waiting to get mine fixed. Bloody slow insurance companies.

I got my own back though.. lol

Actually, I don't like this current trend...

yeah i was thinking that - everyone with a straight car: extract the charade from under the pile of old carpet next to the lawnmower, and hide your nice new car there instead. at least for a little while.
