Well duck and i went practising with the Yanks today they were doing about ~2.21's race pace or ~2.19 qualifying.

I managed to make a good R2/R2 which could work for you Neil or Matt if your easy on tyres i managed to do 10-15laps on it with the tyres 105-112 with high PSi for straight line speed 38psi.
R2's didnt quite work for me so i went R3/R3 with Psi at 23 it was only ~2km/h slower down the straights. tyres heated nicely and handled well.

So have a shot and lemme know what you recon

Alright so...
I thought I'd post here, before Arrow does... so you guys will hopefully take my sets first :D

Spent a few hours on them, just getting the fine adjustments right. I made an R3 all round set, which is a tad oversteery but quite nice. It needs to be a little oversteery though, to keep the rear tyres warm and the fronts not as hot.
I also made a R3/R2 set, which is ok, it's alot easier to drive I guess.. I didn't like it much I kept burning out the tyres (front or rear, couldn't find a balance).. But you might like it Matt or Neil.

So give them a shot, they both should last. I'll also attach an R4/R3 set, which is easier to drive than both of them :P

The qual set may be a little oversteery, but you kinda need it to be, otherwise the fronts burn up. Only did a 2.19.5 with it, but I'm confident it could do a low 19.
Good luck

EDIT: how the %$&# do i attach shit? :D it keeps saying file invalid or something :S
EDIT 2: %&#$ you Arrow.

Thanks heaps guys for the sets and skins.

I have been practising about an hour or two every night....as much as I can anyway.

I have a race pace of about 2.25.....not fast but hopefully with your sets I can stay consistent and go a bit faster. I was using the inferno HL set modified only by tyre pressure to stop the rears burning....didn't last too well.

Neil When do you want to get together for a practice? I was thinking tomorrow morning at 6am (my time, 5 yours I think) as that is good for me and it will give us a dry run at Sundays race. I am very open to changing though, whatever suits.

dude i aint getting up that early 2 days in a row :P 6am is 4am for me! i been up at 5am all week. na uh.

I was doing some running tonight, did 18 laps on ducks R3/R2 set and managed a 2:20.2 before i ran out of fuel. started with 50%.

Duck said i suck and told me to try the R3 R3 set, which is different. Its way loose. i dont like it but i can see how much faster it is, and once the fronts heat right up it tightens up a lot. i cant keep the fronts under 120 at all. did a 2:21.89 with a full fuel load (well 70% guessed the 1 hour mark) but then my brother came over and i was looking at his wedding photos.

IM up for testing all day tommorow as of now. (just not 4am!!!) im not doing anything but that could change. Sat night im defo not doing anything so ill be practicing then. :)

matt, add me to msn if u want, my email is my msn thingy.

I may be home later but I will still practice with the R3/R2 set.

Where do I find the server details and what will we use for teamspeak?.....MNR is always available and I'm sure it iwll be free at that time of the morning.

I am trying all the mics when I get home to make sure I have one.

Dont worry about a microphone mate, i dont like racing with them, so i wont be on team speak. and you dont need one for the race itself. for practice im gonna do some now, if u can get the ozbee servers going would be nice....
