iRacing fun race week

Post by DarrenM »

In the coming 1 week gap between the main seasons there will be 4 fun series. No license restrictions, the races won't count towards iRating or SR, and there is no qualifying or time trials. Just races :)

Solstice vs Advanced Legends, Battle of the Titans. Max field size of 20
Late Model Madness at Lowes Motor Speedway. Max field size of 40
SK Modified North and South Shootout. Max field size of 20
Sabbatical in the Radical. Max field size of 30

Races are every 1/2 hour. Full schedule here

Solstice vs Legends is at Laguna and Summit Point. Woohoo, Legends on road courses :)
Radical series is at Silverstone and Daytona. Don't know if it's Daytona RC or just the oval.

Pure Awesomness.

Cant wait to get the Legends out on the roadies in proper competition.

Wicked!

Do we have to buy them all to have a go? eg. Radical? (I would assume yes?)

I think so, but the Solstice vs Legends races are all with base package content so you don't need to buy anything for that one.

radical at Silverstone is pretty good fun. Looking forward to this. Dunno about the Late Models at Lowes, i assume they are running the Short Oval? cos the long oval peaks those bastards out to buggery. Or can gearing be altered in the setups? either way, 40 car fields.. mmm.

You can change the final drive ratio. With 40 cars I think it would be the full one. At least, I hope so :)

yeah i reckon it will rock. 12 Late models was intense enough. Lets hope the disregard to SR's doesn't result in wreckers though. I think the majority of people are sensible enough.
