Well if you haven't already heard the greatest name in Pro-Cycling as arrived in AUS to return from retirement & compete in the Tour Down Under.
I can't help but wonder how much he is going to win by as I am certain he will want to make a statement that he belongs back in the Pro-Peleton.
If you doubt me then check this out: http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/ ... 88,00.html
The Herald had better photos in the News paper on Saturday in Melbourne, all I can say is this guy is ready.
Also TREK have done a custom design on his bike for TDU, pretty interesting with lots of hidden meassge/meanings.

This will be talked about for a long time, if anyone is going I envy you.

where does the tour go?? it just says starts in Adelaide. If it makes its way near melbourne, ill go watch for sure, its not often you get to see such a dominant sporting legend doing what they do best live in the flesh.

I really wanted to get to this to take some photos, but I fear it just isn't going to happen.

I'll definately be going this Sunday evening, and possibly the next Sunday as well (final stage) depending on the weather that day.

I'll be going for the classic stage on the first Sunday (18th) and the Final stage on the second Sunday (25th). Probably take a camera for those since there's usually a lot of photo ops
I'll also be taking part in Challenge tour on the Friday stage (23rd) alongside a whole heap of others! (total sign ups is 7041!) so i'll probably be checking out the finish of that too assuming that i make it to the finish and i'm not too knackered i might think about purchasing a small point and shoot digital camera for that ride since i reckon that many riders winding their way up Gorge Rd is going to be spectacular!
Cheers,
CLP
