5.5 / 10. Some good bits, some interesting bits, but a lot of wanky bits.

I'm not going to see it purely because of Tom Cruise. he is a fuck wit that can't act. Every movie he plays the same character. Yet somehow he is so popular. Jim Carrey needs to give him some lessons on changing mannerisms.

As a devoted fan of the original radio serial, am I going to like or hate it?

Do the "visitors" look at all like the picture on the front of the album? Is the cause of their demise the same?

How true is the film to the original storyline?

Is Tom Cruise an alien or a human?

Spoiler!!





I was a bit dissapointed, not enough action, the basement scene went far to long, the ending was to short/lame, the charactors had nothing to do with the plot.
Also dumb how the camera still worked (both the guy that gets zapped and the news crews) after the EMP blasts...
