Last time I was at my local Hardly Normal they had 15 copies or more... been like that for weeks, I think I was the only one to ever buy a copy actually. If you want I can see if they have some left.

I will drop into the Harvey Norman at Geelong tomorrow and see if they have it, my local one never did, but the Geelong one seems a bit bigger and better, so hopefully it'll be there.

I got mine from http://www.gameswarehouse.com.au

I paid a bit for it but the nearest HN store is about 60kms from where I live so when I factor in the cost of fuel and lunch and other things, it worked out ok.

I have no credit card, so buying online is out. Not to worry, might wait for rFactor in a few days time. :)

rFactor is only coming online too so will also be a credit card purchase.

Although I reckon you're doing the right thing anyway. I don't think GTR will have a very long shelf life. Particularly if Simbin end up making a GTR 2 with all the new lighting thingies and stuff.

The best version of GTR around is the demo! The full game has that me bugs i don't even know why people are still playing it. And i can tell you there is no way i'm getting GTL. Simbin will do the same think. Bring out afew patchs to fix things, that don't really work but leave us with a bazillion other things wrong with the game.

GTR is fine offline. Though I've never had too many troubles online either. Besides you cant drive V8 Supercars in the demo! :D

Well, i couldn't find GTR in the shops, so i finally managed to at least get the dodgy german version going, but the V8's and Escort mods crash when i load them up. This game is not meant to be played by me :D
