LAN's (PC and Console)? QLD locations?

hey guys.

I'm a newbie to these forums but am not a weirdo or anything. I think.

Anyways, to the point. I'm keen to see if you guys know of any regular LAN's in the Queensland area. Done a bit of a search online but its hard to find people who enjoy the same games as i do and live locally.

Anyone live in the area and know of any xBox Halo 1 or 2 LAN's being run? Or Forza (but i'm guessing halo 2 is a wee bit bigger on the LAN front

).

I've got a reasonable PC, but lack network knowledge and have never linked PC's before. Could not find any LAN's devoted to racing games, but wonder if anyone here has tried a LAN with GTR or F1c. Can you link with LFS? Not into FPS on PC's though.

I'm babbling again. Must be the beer.

Shame u dont live in melbourne. I would be more then happy to help organise a racing game only PC lan.
