Thats fantastic!! and brilliant for me if im working from home our out and about.. people can pay me on card with little hassle.
It needs everyone to become a member of square or whatever its called though. Hopefully it catches on.

I think it doesn't require them to be a member? For their ID photo they would have to be a member obviously though.
Could I use this with my credit card, pay myself say $100, then deposit the $97.10 into my bank account, then withdraw cash? Beats the 19.99% instant interest my credit card has for cash withdrawls...

After thinking more about this, I have a concern. If someone stole my credit card, what is to stop them from just taking my money using their mobile phone. I've tried to 'sign' with my finger and it looks nothing like my signature. I'd be more comfortable if it were a pin code system. Don't get me wrong, I think it is brilliant but I am concerned about theft and fraud.

I guess this method, each transfer is logged with the company that provides the service. When you get your credit card bill, their name and the user's name will show on your bill. Also, when someone steals your card, all they need is the number, name, expiry date and CV code and you're screwed. No swiping necessary.
