Re: Gran Turismo 5
Dont remember mate. I only put $10 bucks down and the recipt has not got the final price on it.
I ordered it before they released the info on the different versions (27/6/10) so i might have to pop in and see what the go is.
Actually the recipt says "Release date 1/10/2010" Ill belive that when i see it

Re: Gran Turismo 5
Hey, at least you can spend only $300 and get to keep the game for life.
Unlike iRacing where you can fork out way more than that and after your subscription ends, tuff luck!

Re: Gran Turismo 5
haha and Knappo you make a good point but with iracing at least the 300 is buying different things etc, for the extra 170 for the GT5 you dont get much extra (that i see)

and more again.. if you also by a PS3 to play it.
Some play it safe on the merry-go-round, others go for the thrills of the roller-coaster.

Re: Gran Turismo 5
actually, most of us already have a pc capable of running games such as that...so that argument fails.GT VIRUS wrote:Same argument for iRacing if you didnt have a PC capable of running it :S
Otherwise it's as above - you pay a crappaload of extra for something, which if you want good, but I agree with those who say it's overpriced and useless.
Having said that, I think I've spend about as much on iRacing content which is now useless for me just the same
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

+1
At least you'll have a nice book to keep Dan. If its designed properly and manufactured well $170 isnt that much.

Dude, if you can afford it go the whole hog and get a g27. Prologue was amazing on the G25 and I can only imagine it being so much better in the full version.Hz-Lab wrote:i'm gonna go in and preorder mine next week. might pick up the driving force pro too
