This man is a former SASR member who has written two books about his experiences in the Regiment and life afterwards.
He served from 1996 - 2002. Then worked in the UAE as an advisor and left that to work for 30 months running private security operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and Banda Aceh.
Excellent insight into the selection process, operations and life after service. If you have an interest in our military, our special forces and want a great read that is very honest about life in this specialised field grab a copy of his books.

We had a security minder in Banda Aceh who was an ex-SAS medic. Had plenty of chats with him about what he'd done, much of it in Somalia. He made the news a little while ago when he was locked up in an Indian jail near the Nepalese border:

Sounds like the Australian Andy McNab :P I loved McNab's books on being in the SAS so I've just put one of Keith's books on the wish list

Heh yeah, I picked up Michael Asher's 'The Real Bravo Two Zero' a while back which pretty much calls McNab and Ryan's story BS... Still yet to read it though.
