Sports Car Hire - Melbourne

Post by SE1Z »

Hopefully in the right section! :)

I'm heading to Melbourne next month with the little lady and was looking to hire a Mini Cooper S.

I have contacted 2 different companies over the last 2 weeks with no reply!

Does anyone know a GOOD hire car company in Melbourne that will actually respond to me?

TIA
Steve :)

Mini Cooper S Convertible Rental Details, Acceleration: 0-100 km/h in 11.8 secs.
They must have added a lot of extra weight to the car to make it that slow :(
# The Mini Cooper S Convertible is only available for rental if the driver/hirer is 23 years of age or older.
If you are younger than this minimum age, unfortunatley the Mini Cooper S Convertible sports car is not available for hire due to insurance cover. Please click here and complete a search for a car applicable to your age group.
# Security Bond AUD$3,000 Credit Card ONLY (required when picking up the Mini Cooper S Convertible)
# 100klm allowance is included per rental day, 500klm allowance for weekend package rentals.
# Excess kms are charged at 50 cents per klm.
# Insurance is included, Excess is AUD$5,000
# Additional driver charge $25.00 per day - must be 23 years of age or older.
Not what you would call cheap (Bond AUD$3,000 )

If i were hiring that car. I dont think id be testing its limits and 0-100's too much considering the $5000 excess :faint:

well, the thing is; it's all done by people nowadays. Since it's a great tool to increase your google page-rank, it's a paid service. Indians chug along and copy/paste in some random crap after registering. I'm guessing the next big mod for phpBB will be a geoIP ban, india on by default, LOL.
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?
