New Wheels

Post by thornz »

Just picked this up on Saturday, a 2004 Legacy 3.0R and had the pleasure of a 600km drive home along some great driving roads.
Awesome car to drive, handles really well for a large car, has great punch from the 3.0 H6 engine, and great comfort when you want to just cruise, and the heated leather seats are magic on those cold mornings.

Wee bit thirsty, but worth it for the fun this car is. Only problem with it is that its just too damn easy to speed in it, just feels so slow cruising at 100kmh, easy to let the speed creep up and before you know it your in lose yor license territory!

Few average photos from dealer where I bought it:

Cheers guys, I'm pretty smitten at the moment :)

Sorry Ysu, updated original post now. Its a 2004 Subaru Legacy 3.0R (Liberty in Oz) with Bilsteins all round. Just trying to confirm if its an official 3.0R B spec or if the Bilsteins have been put in at a later date.

Just need to win lotto now so I can add some tasty 18" BBS alloys, and one of these supercharger kits :)

Seems you can get those kits for the RS 2.5's as well.. hmmmmm

Nah, I don't have the technical know-how to install anything like that. I have already checked out the STI BBS wheels though  Might do a few little changes to the car when I get back from o/s. Would hate to think what insurance would be on a car with an after market supercharger. Actually they probably wouldn't even insure it... Shannons or Just Car would be about it, and their insurance is pretty pricey.
