Nothing wrong with the mighty Yaris! It's a good little car Drives well, easy on fuel, cheap to ensure and register and maintain.

That's because it's a Toyota. They always have a better than average resale value, shit load better than any Falcondore.

yeah...that's a good reason to buy used falcodore rather than toyota (or even Mitsu, they are far cheaper too)Rots wrote:That's because it's a Toyota. They always have a better than average resale value, shit load better than any Falcondore.

Re: For Sale: Toyota Yaris
Well depends... used Falcodore's can have a lot of issues, many of them are ex-fleet and abused.
We recently purchased a used 2001 Toyota Prado for $18,000. The equivalent in Mitsubishi Pajero, Nissan Pathfinder, Nissan Terrano and Hyundai Terracan was anything up to $5k less. However, without any disrespect to the other vehicles, the Prado is the better engineered machine with a far superior off road ability (big thing for me) than it's competition so the premium for the brand was well worth it. I also have the piece of mind that in a few years from now the Prado will still hold a better resale value than it's competitors of same age.
Don't get me wrong, I would have been happy with one of the others, but not satisfied with the final decision... something would have been missing.

If it's better then it's a good decision!
Also, to be honest, since you're losing less money as time goes by, it's not exactly a bad decision, just a bigger investment...it really depends on the individual situation I guess.

Most 06 YRX models are going between 12 and 13. 10 is cheap if it's a YRX.
