Far Cry 3

Post by kwijibo »

Anyone else keeping an eye on this one?

Looks really cool, and hopefully has none of the annoying shit that ruined Far Cry 2 (Malaria, respawning baddies)

The only big downer for me is I just read that the Steam version will require you to login to Uplay in order to play. Whyyyyy :fall: I'm half tempted to get the xbox version to avoid it

Yep, been watching closely.
The latest trailer has me very excited!

I am wondering if the story will end up going the 'fight club' route....

Will have to wait and see how well this is executed. Far Cry 2 has left a bad taste in my mouth, however this definitely has potential. But I won't be buying on release.

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you finally have enough horsepower.

I agree the 2nd iteration was good, but not good enough - lots of potential but not the best. Will see how it turns out.
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

The start of the game is really awesome... unfortunately I dont have time to get addicted to a game so I quit playing after that lol

 I know that feeling... my wife and I will have twins on our hands along with a 2 year old in a few weeks time :eyepop:

I had to get something that wasn't a car racing sim for a change as that's all I really play. Im a bit cautious about getting too addicted as I wont have much spare time for a while soon, getting harder the more i play tho.
