OK, back on topic! Wheels fitted. Next on the list are some Eibachs to drop it a little bit and some new shocks too.

Sacrebleu - ees French!
Yeah i like!
I know it's a bit odd but I like the team dynamics writing on the side of the rims too. I may end up getting the same for my car at some point.

Subtle new addition. A lip splitter underneath the front bumper. DOWNFORCE!

Thanks dude. It's off a Skoda of some description. Pretty common to put them on Clios and Meganes. Only requires taking a few cm off one end and it fits great.

Re: Sacrebleu - ees French!
It's been in and out of places the last couple of weeks. Had the speedo repaired (sort of). The offending part is actually inside the gearbox so my mechanic dodgied it up as best he could. It works for now but could break anytime... or not at all. Cost of part $40. Cost of labour to repair properly (gearbox out and apart) $3500...
so then off to have dent in tailgate removed and a few minor touch ups (look at front wheel arch and under headlight in above shots). Looking pretty schmick now. Dent wasn't able to be completely eliminated but since the bonnet and roof are still covered in hail damage it doesn't bother me too much.
Now to save for new top mounts, springs and dampers.
Oh, and I've got to put the stripes on.

Re: Sacrebleu - ees French!
The Clio had its debut today at the French Car Show in Canberra. Was weird seeing people peering through the window and making comments about my car. I know for a fact it got at least one vote for best car in show
Although this A110 probably deserved it...

Re: Sacrebleu - ees French!
My mate was visiting back from Switzerland for Christmas so I figured I had to initiate him to some RS goodness. Took the GoPro out for its first spin in the car. Was warm so windows down/AC off. It still coped fairly well with the wind noise. Am confident enough to stick it on the outside of the car next time though. It's in full HD if you watch on youtube.

Re: Sacrebleu - ees French!
Decent, when I was up there I took the ute through Cotter Rd iirc? Pretty twisty and there wasn't much traffic to slow me down too much.
