Re: Homeland.
watched the first one. Didnt go much on it except for the boobies.
I dont like a show that has a weak main character. By that I mean the lead that has personal issues. Harden the fuck up bitch.
Does it get better? Or did you like it from ep 1?

Re: Homeland.
It's got Inara from Firefly so I'm half tempted to give it a go just because of that.

I dont know when they intro her dependence on psych drugs, but I am really liking her fucked up character.
I only had a look because Damian Lewis is in it and I liked his character in Life. He is good in this, so is Mandy Patinkin as the mentor to Claire Danes.
Lots of twists and turns and the bride and I are enjoying it.

Enjoying this as well, spotted the ads for it on tv a little while back and thought I'd grab an episode to what it was all about, I found the first episode just average but I tend to give things at least 2 episodes before writing them off, now I'm glad I did, currently 10 episodes down, probably knock off the last 2 for the season over the weekend.

Re: Homeland.
Has anyone been watching Prisioners of War, SBS Saturday nights?
It was made before Homeland, and supposedly Homeland is based on a similar story
I've only watched the first episode, it's subtitled, but compelling.
Some major differences but some strong similarities as well
In this one 4 or 5 Jewish Prisoners come home after 16 years as POW
Highly recommended (but you cant watch it and surf the net on your tablet at the same time)
