Re: Your Cool Artworks.....
yeah that is beyond good! what a clever idea. Love what you did with the Artworks too. It's so WTF.. lol. I looked for something to critique, couldn't find it, Good luck in the comp man.
Brilliant.. lol.
I'm just about to move house in a couple of weeks, would love to grab this as a print to put up somewhere if that's at all possible, it's so up alley.

Thanks.
The idea came to me in the middle of the night one night, I'd been racking my brain for weeks.
My model was pretty unimpressed when I accentuated her already ample wrinkles.

Re: Your Cool Artworks.....
Another cool one speed. The only problem with it is the floor of the telephone box. It throws the perspective way out. Maybe copy and paste the back wall behind her waste area and put it down lower, and blend it in so you don't even see the floor. You can't see her feet, so you shouldn't see the floor either.
Did you do all the explosions and that too?

Fark, I can't believe I didn't see that, that is shit. Thanks for pointing it out.Hz-Lab wrote:The only problem with it is the floor of the telephone box. It throws the perspective way out.

I just had a look at the PSD & I have inadvertantly flattened it...oh well.
I took the photos of the girl, the box & the city & I have explosion & smoke textures that I added.

Finally got around to taking the side off the little man's cot. Figured he needed something suitable to stop him from falling out so we built him a small barrier. Not quite finished yet but is serviceable. He has exquisite taste in cars.

Re: Your Cool Artworks.....
Thanks Speed, I do cheat a little with a reference image. I used to struggle drawing bodies, but I am getting better, Once upon a time i used to just trace outlines and go from there. Now I just look at a picture for reference 1st. Faces are no issue, I always do them from scratch, but bodies are something I am finally starting to get the hang of. Shading is something that actually comes quite natural for me. Its very obvious when you shade something wrong, so I guess that helps.
This is it a bit more polished up. The Tatts took feckin ages lol..

Re: Your Cool Artworks.....
That looks great Hz.....got it in Hi-res?
You'd be crazy to not use reference images I reckon.
I'm constantly looking at other peoples photography & photoshop work for inspiration.
I love shading and dodging and burning. It's my absolute favourite thing.

Re: Your Cool Artworks.....
I cant claim that this artwork is mine, but it is now hanging on the walls of my man cave.
1955 Monza poster @ A1 based on the TORINO poster at BAPOM
Pair of Adelaide GP even posters @ A3, 1985 on the left and 1986 on the right.
Posters hanging in the cave. The black disc between the two AGP posters is actually a carbon F1 clock with the 4th gear from Jenson buttons BrawnGP car.

My latest attempt at a composite....Princess of Thieves.
Your critique would be appreciated Hz.....sometimes when I look at an image for too long I get a little blinded to its faults.
