I'll ask at work. I'm not really up to speed on receivers. I love my Yamaha as a sub $500, but I know JB stopped dealing with them.

They agree at work... If you can find a Yamaha at JB still, I'd have a close look at those. Otherwise new range is due to come through this month. You could hold off and see what comes out. But you usually pay a premium for the new models.

Cheers, dex. Harvey Norman have a Yamaha on special but it's the base model... Not sure how good it is but probably suitable for my needs

$2000 for 60" st60? Myer had 20% off the other day which meant that TV was about 1860. You should be able to haggle down close to that mark
