Watched this last night on SBS. It's a History Channel thing apparently and it was great. Second episode of the two back to back last night had the Vikings positively slaughtering unarmed monks and smashing up the joint. Awesome. An Aussie in the lead role - Travis Fimmel - who is bloody good.
Plus its about Vikings.

Yeah, good series.
It's a bit slower than GoT because it doesn't have 900 sub plots, but it's a good story.
