Chris Harris - Ferrari F12

Post by Exar Kun »

Seems as though Monkey is back in Ferrari's good books. And what a way to celebrate it. One set of tyres only lasted one lap!!!

The F12 was at the top of my most desirable cars currently on sale list already but this more than cements its place.

Yeah, the downshifts are amazing. I'll always prefer a manual but having that gearbox nail the blip on changing down every time is intoxicating.

Another nice video indeed,
of course you have your auxiliary passenger data area, so they can see how fast there crapping themselves in the passenger seat.
Some play it safe on the merry-go-round, others go for the thrills of the roller-coaster.

It's not as if he doesn't do a quick lap or give us a good intro on the car. I find the skids the least interesting part of his videos too but he more than makes up for it with the rest of his stuff. He's able to do the sideways stuff as well as top gear whilst still actually filling in the rest of the info that enthusiasts would like to know. And the split screen shot was awesome.

Watch his video on racing the old Merc at the Ring with David Coulthard last week - no drifting in that one!

Harris: "Does it oversteer?"
Coulthard "Are you fucking joking?"

Or words to that effect - I found the whole thing bloody hilarious.
I had never realised that DC was quite so funny before.

Yeah, I lol'd with that too. It was actually:

Harris: "Did you make it oversteer?"
DC: "Did I fuck?"
DC: "Are you serious? Oversteer will come just before impact."
