Accelerator issue.

Post by norbs »

Check out this replay gents.

This happens a lot. It seems like the engine is missing or something. Nearly every time I start the game it is the same. Sometimes playing a replay stops it. Other times like tonight, I can't stop it at all.

Any ideas? The in game pedals don't show the same stuttering that the tacho does.

I had the L49 go like that when I had a tiny bit of clutch on. It doesn't look like you have that problem, but maybe it doesn't take much spiking to freak the game out?

Do some laps then post the telemetry_dump.nkt file in Documents\Assetto Corsa\aim. It'll be easier to see what's really going on with your pedals.

Post on the official forum as well. The devs are very active there

Give that your pots a clean as well. Maybe they're only spiking in some sessions.

Did you fix this? I just had it happen again can confirm it was because the clutch wasn't coming off completely.

dxtweak2 crashes on my system so I can't add a deadzone :(

Hey Darren, yes, you were right. Every now and then I have to dump the clutch and it stops playing up.

Sorry I didnt get back to you.

You can add a dead zone in game, there's a slider underneath the axis settings.

That won't help me in iRacing though. Main problem is my throttle keeps losing calibration so I only get to ~97%. Not sure if it's the new mobo I put in last week or if they're just stuffed. Using CSP's might have to drag the G27 pedals out of the cupboard.

Update: I found in iRacing you can edit joyCalib.yaml to limit the ranges.
